It is only when refusing to repeat an old pattern that will we ever know what our options are.
Often the intention of seeking support is trying to understand what our patterns and conditioning are, and thus developing awareness of having a choice. Often in our lives, there are obstacles and detours, as well as people and things that we cannot control. To go through redundant patterns of behavior can sometimes be exhausting, stressful, and challenging to our peace of mind. My role as a therapist is that of an empathetic co-pilot. I work in a client-centered way, and I will support you in creating healthy choices and new resources for yourself. My approach is compassionate, intuitive, and interactive. I strive to meet each client’s personality and goals in a safe and welcoming environment.
I am multilingual and multicultural. My various life experiences provide a base that will help me support you as we work together to meet your goals.
After graduating with a Master of Arts in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) , I received training in Gestalt therapy at the Church Street Integral Counseling Center in San Francisco for three years. I also trained for two years at the Strategic Family Therapy Clinic of the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in Palo Alto CA.
Selecting a therapist can be daunting. To support your selection process, I offer a face-to-face 50-minute intake session for a flat fee of $25. This approach will help us both determine if we are a good fit for continued therapeutic work. Sessions can be in English, French, or Italian, as preferred.
